MASSAGE THERAPIST

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum in-class initial massage therapy training which must include the study of anatomy and physiology and the theory and practice of massage therapy from an accredited nationally recognized massage program or school.
  • Membership in a credible professional association; ie…. The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA)
  • Massage Therapist License at the State or Local Level.
  • Must possess at least 4 years of experience working deep tissue massage.
  • Maintain health care administration and professional responsibilities.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Must always practice ethics and professionalism.
  • Be current in new research and techniques to address neck, back, and torso issues.
  • Be able to adapt to a flexible work schedule and possible weekends.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/AED certified
  • Clean Background Check
  • Be able to adapt to flexible work schedule and possible weekends.
  • Currently, or upon hire, possess Professional Liability Insurance: $1,000,000.00
  • Compensation dependent upon education and experience.
